Inclusivity and diversity are core values of MindTravellers
Allows love and acceptance to blossom within and transcend boundaries
We, at MindTravellers, understand the unique challenges and journeys LGBTQ+ individuals face, and we've created a space to honor and support the healing and growth of gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer men in the form of a transformative Psilohuasca or other plant medicine experience. Most participants opt for psilohuasca so we will go into that in more detail.
Psilohuasca, a powerful entheogenic brew, has been used for centuries by indigenous communities for spiritual exploration, self-discovery, and emotional and physical healing. This ancient medicine has the potential to open doors to deep introspection, release past traumas, connect with inner wisdom, and promote personal transformation.
During this ceremony, we embark on a profound journey of self-exploration and healing, facilitated by experienced guides who are well-versed in both plant medicine traditions and the specific needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
Our intention is to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing space where you can fully embrace your authentic self and find support and connection with other LGBTQ+ men who are on a similar path!
● Why a plant medicine ceremony for LGBTQ+
LGBTQ+ individuals can sometimes face hiding or suppressing their true selves because of social norms and expectations. A plant medicine ceremony can provide a space where we feel free to express our authentic selves and embrace who we really are.
Plant medicines can open the mind and provide deep insights into our inner landscape. For LGBTQ+ members, this can be a valuable opportunity to explore and strengthen identity, personal goals and desires. We realize that the choice for a plant medicine ceremony is always personal and that not all LGBTQ+ members necessarily need a ceremony focused on their identity. Some people may feel equally comfortable in general plant medicine ceremonies, while others prefer a specific community and environment surrounded by people who share similar experiences.
Creating inclusive spaces and opportunities for healing and consciousness expansion is paramount, and plant medicine ceremonies can be a valuable tool for individuals in the LGBTQ+ community to enrich and embrace themselves.
Note the following dates in your calendar:
-
September 23and
-
November 11
for upcoming ceremonies.
We have deliberately chosen these dates to allow sufficient time for preparation, integration and reflection, so that you have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in this special experience. The ceremonies start Saturday at noon. We start with an explanation of about an hour, after which the journey begins. After this there is a vegetarian meal in the evening and everyone stays overnight. The next morning we start with breakfast, followed by the sharing in which we give words to our experience. This gives the experience meaning and the integration can start; using this knowledge in your daily life. After sharing we take a walk with a Wim Hof dip in the Lek, or you can express your experience on paper by painting. Participation in this day ceremony costs 225 euros. We are convinced that this investment in yourself, your healing and personal growth is extremely valuable.
We have done our best to make the experience accessible while ensuring the highest quality of care and support.
We cordially invite you to join this journey of self-examination, acceptance and connection.
